The Easter eggs are made from combining two shades of red with one shade of light blue pearl clay, creating a beautiful contrasting ripple. The gold filled ring is reminiscent of the discs orbiting an astronomical object, like the planet Saturn, which is named after an ancient Roman god.

Saturn was a god in ancient Roman religion. He was described as a god of abundance, wealth, agriculture and liberation. Saturn's mythological reign was depicted as a Golden Age of abundance and peace. Under his rule, humans enjoyed the spontaneous bounty of the earth without any labour.
