I've never been to a proper fashion institute or design school. Everything I've learned was from continuous trial and error, the internet's generous bounty of tutorials, and 18 years of using my hands to make a living.
And I've always loved taking people's breath away with my creations. It might sound a little narcissistic, but it's the truth. The chance to positively impact someone's life, however big or small, is so exhilarating.
It's going to sound pretty cliché, you have permission to cringe, but the birth of my daughter Olivia truly pushed me beyond my limits. She opened my world up to endless possibilities, optimistic thoughts, and made me dream BIGGER. (That's why I named the brand after her.)
One day, while discussing with my mother ways to utilize feng shui in my house to unlock a constant flow of abundance and positive energy in to my life, I was suddenly gripped by this sudden vision, this sudden desire, this sudden INSPIRATION to incorporate the same elements into jewelry. I was already planning on creating jewelry for over a year, but lacked muse.
This was it. Everything clicked. It ALL made sense.
I had to create jewelry that would unlock wealth, success, love, happiness, luck, fortune, provide protection, and encompass all the positive energies the universe had to offer... for the people. My people. You.
