It inspired us to create the Sunken Treasures collection as an ode to the hidden fortunes awaiting salvage by the bravest and boldest of adventurers, in hopes of capturing that essence to bring financial opportunities and prosperity into your life.
Pearls symbolize elegance, wealth, luxury and femininity. Their delicate beauty have been capturing people for centuries, with strong links to the Moon, water, love and fortune. Many cultures believe wearing pearls offer protection and wisdom, and that they attract good luck and prosperity.
We intentionally strung 8 rice pearls in a row on both side of the necklace. In Pythagorean numerology, the number 8 represents victory, prosperity and overcoming. Eight (八, hachi, ya) is also considered a lucky number in Japan, but the reason is different from that in Chinese culture. Eight gives an idea of growing prosperous, because the letter (八) broadens gradually.
